A tale of SAMUDERA
Samudera tells a story about the experience of incorporation of different kinds of love from one of our legendary all time ‘superhero’, warrior, the first female queen in Kelantan named Che Siti Wan kembang. In here the writers relate to her story as the world of love that she has been through is not about pouring her love to her significant other or spouses, but she took her love inside her for her kingdom, country, and also her endless love for her God, hence to relate to this, love is universal, love is as big as the ocean (Samudera),the strength that she holds is also as big as the ocean, so it’s a PSA and note to us listeners to always secure our love for our loved ones, be it family ,friends, and the universe, love defines more than just falling for a stranger, as what Che Siti Wan kembang had encountered she refuses to marry anyone as her dimension of love for her country is bigger than the ones wanting her hearts.

Samudera in this song defines also of how diverse our culture is in Malaysia.With the incorporation of Makyong (verified by Unesco) and also Dikir Barat,the writer and the songstress is merging two worlds of modern elements(EDM) and also tradtional elements (mentioned makyong and dikit barat) to the table ,a world of we call “Dimensi Samudera “ to a point that we are paying homage to the ancestors’ culture so those who listens to this song could relate to the history of Che siti wan kembang, kelantan, the universe love as well as appreciating our east culture as a whole. Last but not least, “Samudera” absorbs more on reggaeton feels yet keeping the classic traditional in a box of the Samudera world.
